My desire to bring more compassion and tolerance into the world stems from my father's experience of surviving Auschwitz and Dachau concentrations camps at the age of 11. His legacy has fed my passion for personal development and understanding human behaviour. I qualified as a medical doctor from University of London in 1984 and spent a number of years in clinical practice including psychiatry and training in hypnotherapy. More latterly I have undertaken a 4 year diploma in transpersonal psychotherapy, trained in NLP and been a member of a number of personal development groups.

I also have experience of starting businesses, including developing docleaf into one of the UK’s most respected crisis management companies. I've also spent time as a professional speaker, talking internationally. I’ve had my fair share of business and life failures, from which I've learnt more than the successes. My main goal in life is to live more consciously and help others reach their true potential.
